But still not a word of apology from the network …

The 7th Lubavitcher Rebbe was, perhaps after Theodor Herzl, the most influential Jewish leader of the 20th Century. His work touched millions of lives, in America, in Israel, in the former Soviet Union, and around the world. His influence continues, and even increases, to this day. For more information, see

To the extent that he was involved in mundane politics, the Rebbe was an unyielding opponent of “land for peace,” maintaining that concessions to Israel’s enemies only endanger Jewish lives.

As a leader of Israel’s million-strong community of recent Russian immigrants, FM Avigdor Liberman well understands the importance of the Rebbe’s work in his community in Israel, as well as in today’s former Soviet countries, where hundreds of Lubavitch emissaries are at work reviving Jewish life, and spreading to all the universal truths of Gd’s torah.

In his personal life, FM Liberman has just survived a 16-year campaign by the Israeli left to incarcerate him. He is seen below reciting verses of mourning, gratitude and praise at the gravesite of both the 6th and 7th Lubavitcher rebbes.
