Two very disturbing reports this morning.

One is that Netanyahu is agreeing to a “2-track” negotiation with both the PLO’s Mahmoud Abbas and with the Arab League.

This report is via DEBKAfile, a source of uneven reliability, but with clear connections to some faction of the Israeli intelligence community.

The second item is via Israpundit, reflecting on a recent shift in Netanyahu’s rhetoric vis-a-vis the creation of a Palestinian state.

Ted Belman does not source this statement of Netanyahu’s. But, if accurate, is worrisome indeed.

Bibi scares me

Today Netanyahu said:

“The purpose of the future agreement with the Palestinians is to prevent the eventuality of a binational state and to guarantee stability and security.”

Not a word about Judea and Samaria belonging to Jews.

Not a word about an undivided Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.

Not a word denying the right of return.

Not a word about refusing to uproot settlers.

Only the far left worries about becoming a bi-national state. Now Bibi has joined their ranks

In Israel, the religious soldiers are the best soldiers (see post below).
